Designed in collaboration with Australian lighting designer, Christopher Boots, our new Salus Oil Burner is a sensory object that offers a modern alternative to traditional burners. Crafted from elements of carved onyx and cast brass this oil burner was developed in the Melbourne studio of Christopher Boots who’s work has been displayed at Hermes, Rossana Orlandi, National Gallery of Victoria, Parliament House, Cassina and countless private collections in New York, Dubai, Tokyo, Moscow and Paris.
To use, place a tea light candle inside the onyx base and dispense 5 drops of oil with water into the brass well. When you wish to distinguish the burner return the cast brass lid back over the well.

Care & Cleaning
Your Salus Body X Christopher Boots Oil Burner may tarnish over time when the cast brass component of this object is exposed to oxygen or the oils in your skin. This is a natural process.
If the brass component of this object requires cleaning use a soft cloth or brush and warm soapy water to gently clean the brass. If you need to remove stubborn dirt or grime, finger marks or heavy tarnish use warm water and vinegar or a brass cleaner product such as Brasso. If using Brasso apply the liquid polish onto brass with a clean, soft and dry cloth. Use circular motions when applying the cloth and polish the product off with a different soft cloth before the polish has had a chance to dry.
Do not clean the Onyx component of your burner with brasso. To clean the Onyx component of your burner use warm soapy water and a clean cloth.
